Branch Commanders<\/span><\/h1>[vc_column_text]The Guyana Police Force is headed by a Commissioner of Police and is divided into Twelve (12) Policing Divisions and a number of Branches throughout Guyana. They are:<\/p>\n

  5. Mounted Branch<\/a><\/li>\n

  7. Canine\u00a0<\/a><\/li>\n
  8. Public Relation Office (P.R.O)<\/a><\/li>\n
  9. Criminal Investigation Department (C.I.D)<\/a><\/li>\n
  10. Traffic\u00a0<\/a><\/li>\n
  11. Construction\u00a0<\/a><\/li>\n
  12. Day Care<\/a><\/li>\n
  13. Guyana Police Co-operative Credit Union<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The Branches include The Public Relations Office, the Criminal Investigation Department, The Mounted Branch, the Central Immigration and Passport Office, The Police Band, General Office,\u00a0<\/a>Finance\u00a0Office, Traffic, Special Branch and the Canine Unit among others. Each Division and Branch is commanded by a Divisional or Branch Commander who reports to the Commissioner of Police.<\/p>\n
