To achieve this we will work in partnership with communities, public agencies and private bodies to enhance and support an environment where all people are preventing crime and building a safer and secure Guyana.[\/vc_column_text][vc_custom_heading text=”Aim” font_container=”tag:h2|text_align:center”][vc_column_text]Our Services will be aimed at:
\n1.\u00a0 Respecting and recognising human rights;
\n2.\u00a0 Working with all communities to develop policing services necessary and appropriate to those communities;
\n3.\u00a0 Building partnerships with all sectors of Guyana Society, including Commercial
\nand Voluntary Groups;
\n4. Working to develop Community Policing Programmes in conjunction with
\nCommunity Policing Groups;
\n5. Improving working relationships with other agencies within the Justice Sector and
\nother Government Departments to improve inter-agency achievements;
\n6. Establishing enhanced working relationships with regional law enforcement
\nagencies; and
\n7. Building a Police Force that through the correct training, access to the right
\nequipment and technologies and adherence to standards will better serve the

\n3. A more professional and accountable Police Force driven by increased public
\nexpectations;
\n4.\u00a0 Increased and appropriate use of Information Technology across the GPF to
\nimprove our service delivery;
\n5. Generation and use of accurate data to support intelligence led policing;
\n6. Use of measurement, monitoring and planning techniques to deliver effective and
\nefficient police services; and
