{"id":3226,"date":"2020-09-08T20:09:05","date_gmt":"2020-09-08T20:09:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.guyanapoliceforce.gy\/?page_id=3226"},"modified":"2020-09-09T00:05:58","modified_gmt":"2020-09-09T00:05:58","slug":"construction","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/guyanapoliceforce.gy\/?page_id=3226","title":{"rendered":"Construction"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row gap=&#8221;10&#8243;][vc_column width=&#8221;5\/6&#8243;][vc_single_image img_size=&#8221;large&#8221; alignment=&#8221;center&#8221; style=&#8221;vc_box_shadow_3d&#8221; onclick=&#8221;zoom&#8221; title=&#8221;Department &#8220;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;50px&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1599581533248{border-radius: 4px !important;}&#8221;]<strong><u>Building A Better Force<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>By: Constable 24584 Clifford George <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>One of the many departments essential to the day to day operations of the Guyana Police Force is the Construction Department.<\/p>\n<p>The department which is located on Seawall road and Rabbit walk in the Director of Public Prosecution\u2019s (DPP) \u00a0Chambers compound has been in existence since the 1980\u2019s, Though no records were found so far to definitely state the exact date of its establishment, \u00a0this section was under the command of the head of the \u201cDepartment of Development\u201d up to 1997, Assistant Commissioner \u201cFinance and Stores\u201d in 1998, Assistance Commissioner \u201cAdministration\u201d from 1995-2015 and Assistant Commissioner \u201cOperations\u201d from 2015 to present.<\/p>\n<p>The Construction department was established to design, implement, monitor and evaluate current and capital infrastructure projects of the Force.
