About Therapy Office
A new initiative introduced by the Guyana Police Force, this office is opened to all ranks within the Guyana Police Force specifically.
What is offered?
The dictionary says psychology is the scientific study of the human mind and its functions, mainly functions affecting behavior. At the Therapist’s Office, the study of behaviors is paramount and taken very seriously. Police ranks are given a comfortable environment to express their emotions and thoughts freely, which is all confidential.
Who is the Therapist?
Ms. Aliyah Cort, a trained, licensed professional currently holding a Master’s Degree in Psychology conducts one-on-one sessions with ranks and her success rate thus far is 100%.
Hours of operations
The office is open from 8 am to 5 pm Monday to Thursday and 8 am to 4 pm on Fridays. We are closed on weekends and holidays.
