……Regional Division 4’C’

In celebration of the Easter season, ranks of Regional Division 4โ€™Cโ€™ conducted a widespread community outreach, distributing kites to children across several communities within Division.

The activity was led by Inspectors Roop and Sardinha, along with other ranks, who worked together to spread joy and promote safety during the holiday.

Children in areas such as Buxton Backdam, Enmore, Annโ€™s Grove/Clonbrook, Mahaica and surrounding communities received kites as part of the initiative. The outreach not only brought smiles to the faces of many young recipients and their parents but also reinforced important messages about the meaning of Easter; highlighting themes of hope, renewal, and unity.

In addition to the kite distribution, ranks used the opportunity to educate youths on safe kite-flying practices.

They were encouraged to fly their kites in open spaces and to avoid electrical wires, ensuring that the festive season remains safe and enjoyable for everyone.

This initiative reflects the Guyana Police Forceโ€™s ongoing commitment to strengthening community relations and positively engaging with young people throughout the region.
